Yes, those are good specs. 8 GB of memory works with your PC cause you have a 64 bit os. However, WoW, unless I am mistaken, is compiled as 32 bit program. In order for a program to take full advantage of the 8GBs of memory, it needs to be compiled in 64 bit.
Basically, here’s the low down. The computer specs are fine, if you were a programmer and compiled lots, then that would be amazing. However, going to Dell and maxing everything out is not going to solve your problems, in fact it’ll make it worse by slowing your new pc down with software you probably don’t need. First off, go with Windows Vista 32bit and take the 4GB of memory. (3 would be sufficient), cut some of the extra software out (unless you want it), and cut back on sound cards, wireless cards, and little stuff like that unless you need it. (Wireless is recommended to have however). Your graphics card is fine, and the HDD is great too. Try that, and save yourself some money, and enjoy your game.

good god that is a great desktop 8gigs of memory wow!!! hd screen!!! sounds great (how much you paying (and wow will play as long as you have good internet but WOW that is a great pc))

make sure to get vista 64 though, otherwise your wasting almost 5 gig of ram…
