Can you get an adapter for the headphone jack of an ipod which sends it’s signal via bluetooth to the in-car stereo? (You lose a lot of quality with the FM transmitters)

Sony makes an adapter for iPods that fits into the proprietary port, not the headphone jack. I’ve never seen one for a headphone jack, and not sure if it can even work. You can pick one up at Best Buy for $79.

They have bluetooth adapters for headphones now. You might want to check in to see if the adapters will hook up with your car kit.
They are around 80 bucks.
