I have tested product and it is no better/ no worse than a cheap 500 series motorola headset. I got one for $5 from a guy at work ..within 2 days I gave it to my son.

Headset is junk. Horribly uncomfortable no matter which ear-gel is used. (What ‘gel’? They’re hard as rocks.) People on the other end of the call couldn’t hear me at all, even with the volume up all the way. Knowledge base is insulting. Can’t submit tickets to their support system, because the form keeps asking for additional fields filled out, even when every field is filled in. Don’t waste your money. Even at $26, it’s not worth it.

I just received mine from Shopcell. It came in very strange packaging that does not actually have the manufacturer’s name on it. It reads “Cellular Accessories.” Did not come with a manual, and the packaging opened so easily that I’m not sure it wasn’t used before.

I’ve had this headset for a couple months now. I really like it for the fit and sound quality, but there are some problems.
The BT530 fits great in my ear. It’s definitely great for people with smaller ears. I put the headset on and have at times forgotten it was even on – it’s just that comfortable. There are different sizes of ear gels and ear loops, so you can customize the fit to your ear. Having smaller ears, this was a big plus for me.
The sound quality is very good. People say they can’t hear background noise when I call them.
The only con I have on this is that it is very hard to turn on and off. It has a slide On/Off switch that is hard to slide. I actually had to send it in to Jabra for warranty repair because one time I went to put on my headset and the On/Off button had completely broken off! Getting ahold of Jabra is a pain, but I was persistent. The actual exchange went very smoothly. The replacement headset (brand new, not a refurb) still has a stiff On/Off slide switch, but it seems slightly easier to turn on and off than the original. I really wish they would have an On/Off button instead of a slide switch.
BTW – I bought direct from Amazon because I wanted to make sure I had everything in the box and in retail packaging. I don’t know what would have happened with the Jabra warranty issue if I had bought one that didn’t come in warranty package. Yeah I paid a tiny bit more, but it was worth it for peace of mind.

I tried two of these headsets with my Blackberry Pearl and they didn’t work. Had to basically hold the phone up next to it to get it to work decently (which completely undermines the purpose of having a hands-free device!) but there was still some static. Exchanged it for a different one but shtill had the same problem. I still use the 3 year old bluetooth that I have. It is bigger and more complicated to use but it least it has a clear signal.
