When ordering this product you have a tendency to be skeptical. Because you do not see anything like this in the stores. But I have to say that they work amazingly well. I am a high school coach that works out with my players and we have to worry about a lot of theft in the weight room. But I have been able to look my iPod in the desk that is in the weight room and be able to workout within 10 feet of the desk. When we are the only team in the weight room I leave it on the desk where it is not getting a blocked by the walls of the metal desk. When I do this I can hear the iPod up to twenty feet away with minor break outs.
On the fitness note it is great to be able to change songs while working out I don’t have to go over to the iPod and change it. Right there on the head set and you can change to whatever song you need to work out with. Also they fit really well into your ear, they don’t slip, or shift around. Actually you do not even feel them once they have settled into your ear. Also no wires to get caught up on, that is the greatest thing.

I ordered the item for my iphone. Unfortunately, the bluetooth adapter which was supposed to be included was not, thus this review is limited to the headset.
The headset worked fine with my iphone phone part. However, I felt the headset did not fit comfortably at all. It was awkward around my ears, never did get into a location which it truly fit.
As with most bluetooth headsets, the sound became distorted when I walked. It also cut out a number of times when in my bag and/or when in my back pocket.
Someone needs to design a sufficient bluetooth headset that does not crackle or cut out when walking (whether the unit is in a pocket or a briefcase/bag). Very dissapointed.

The JayBird Bluetooth headphones are the worst product I ever bought, bar none. Don’t be misled by all the claims about good sound, sweat no problem etc. – while all that may be true, the headphones themselves are absolutely the worst quality possible. The first pair I bought died a few hours after starting to use it, first one side, and then no sound at all. Got the run-around from “customer service” requiring multiple mails back and forth from “tech support” until they finally agreed to take it back. Then the replacement set died too after the very first use (maybe it had already been “refurbished”?).
In short, a badly designed unreliable low-quality over-priced product, backed by matchingly abysmal customer service.
If I could give it no stars I would. DON’T BUY IT!.

I bought these about 2 months ago and have used them extensively. Unfortunately they died last week and I took them back and got a new set. This works great with my iPhone to play music since upgrading to the iPhone 3.0 software. Before that upgrade this headset could only do voice calls over Bluetooth without using an adapter. Now I do not need an adapter sticking out of my iPhone to use it to listen to music. Seems to work better if I leave it in my right pocket versus my left pocket. Sound quality is good but takes awhile to figure out how to get ear buds to contour to your ear and fit well. Nice to be wireless though.

Conceptually, this product is a great idea. It functioned properly in terms of synching and audio quality and reception was great. My problem was in fitment. I could not get it to remain secure in my ears (YES, I read and reread the instructions). Ultimately, I returned it for a refund. If you buy, make sure that you can engage in all of your physical activities before the return period is up. Bottom line…the item may be best for individuals with large ears.
