Bluetooth Stereo Headsets & Headphones
I’ve got a mono headset I use with my pocketpc phone, but I can listen to media player in stereo with a stereo bluetooth headset. Please advise.

I say go for it. Plantronics makes a good one though Motorola has a greater selection. i have been thinking about it for just music. I have a PDA not a smartphone so my draw back is the three to five hour battery life. i listen to music around 17 hrs a day/between charges of the devices batteries. i will wait until the batt life improves but for your use and i assume you have a car (i dont have a power generator on my bike) you can charge on the road.
Have fun
PS there are some sunglasses bluethooth stereo headsets that can have an perscription lens inserted into them.

You’d be spending more money on the Bluetooth part of the headset than the stereo part. If you want to listen to music with your mono and only one side of the music is coming out, you can go to your audio settings* and you should be able to change it; set the balance to whichever side you can hear.
* On Windows, it should be in Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel. On Mac, go to Sound in System Preferences, and under Output, set it to one side.
